Chippendales vs. More Leftovers Under Table

Oh man...This match was huge! The number one seed for division two was at stake. More Leftovers Under Table, knew that it was important to win this one and they found a loop-pole in the new rule about players only being able to play once per week. Since CK's team forfeitted they aquired him just for the match, hoping to upset max's team. What follwed was some quality UT, much like the ol' days. This truely was a fun one to watch :>

Tempest

The theme of this map was the amp. For the most part, the team who controlled the amp had the upper hand at that point in the game. First blood went to CK, who was quickly taken down by max_q who grabbed the first amp for his team. Lucky for m1, zabos was able to destroy max before he got any more kills as you can see in the first screen shot. The next amp was again taken by cnd, but it was witchblade who got it this time. Zabos was all over him to save his team once again though.
A few more mins pass by with neither team doing a whole lot. De`pain, after getting off to a slow start begins to get his groove and makes it to a killing spree about 4 and a half minutes into the game. At this point, both teams are pretty equal, as you can see from SS 02. Chippendales are all pretty equal, with max doing the best. m1 was led by CK and depain...the other two struggling some.
With his team down 43-36, depain goes crazy. He's got armor and pulse gun as he steps into the amp room. He quickly takes out max as gokuh boots up to grab the amp. Before gokug could do a thing, depain smaked him down as well. Right after that thriller steps in and gets his ass handed to him w/ rox, which he can't believe. Depain goes low to the goo area...gg spawn as thriller is standing there still in disbelief tthat depain didnt kill himeself w/ his rox. Depain kills him to get on his spree. Now, the best in game line...
I was watchin this w/ castor and waffle over my shoulder just rofl, wally's spec'in the match lol. so funny. By the time this all transpired, depains team was now down only 44-42. A few more frags get passed around and the game's knotted up at 47-47 with about 8:00 left! Nothing's stopping depain at this point...he's now rampaging. He's all belted up, but wait! thriller gets his first amp of the game and isnt scared of the belted, rampaging depain. He smacks him and gets things back in gear for his team who was down 59-50 at this point.
Knowing his team was in trouble, thriller grabbed the next amp as well, which turned out to be the deciding factor of this game in my opinion. Four minutes left, his team down 66-69 thriller grabs the amp...a double kill and eventually a killing spree all on one amp run and his team's sportin a 73-69 lead.
m1 wasn't ready to give up though. they tie the game up again at 75 each with only 2:30 remaining! Thriller gets his 3rd amp in a row (timing whore!), however he doesnt manage to get any kills this time. In the long run its better for his team that he got it instead of m1 though. A few more frags and we've got a time game at 80-80.
In the end the momentum provided by the last few amps was just too much for m1 though. Led by thriller who got 4 frags and witchblade who got 3, each in the last 2 minutes of the game, cnd pulled away with the 91-85 victory in what was one of the most exciting ut mathces i've had the pleasure of watching in a long time.

I'm too tired to work on doing a recap for nitro like I did on tempest. It took me a few hours to get everything down, but I've got a nice system going now. Time permitting I should be able to do this a few more times in the playoffs.
This map was all thriller. He started out just like he finished on tempest...whoring the amp. He went crazy! Something like 20 frags when the most on his team was still in the single digits and the other team didn't even have 20 frags total. It was sick. He started to cool down though, but witchblade and the others picked up the slack. m1 made it interesting for a while, but was unable to make up all the ground. Thats all I've got for now, I dont remember any details since it was about a week ago now.
