More Leftovers Under the Table vs. Dynasty II

MLUT:TDM II Quarter-finals

Alright, I know... this recap may be just a TAD bit late. But hey - better late then never, correct? :p On with the show!

First map: Curse

This map was never really close. Which was too bad, because if DYN were to win this they needed to win this first map. At first, Fader was no where to be found, so being the friendly admins that we are, DYN was allowed to pick up a fourth player, apimpinschubee, even though the rosters were locked. It didn't matter much - the map was all M1! The map started with Zab0s doing several amp runs, controlling the amp very well, which immediately put M1 out to a commanding lead. Depain, Wally, and NikoN were doing an EXCELLENT job holding the top and controlling the SB/shock area. The map ended with a 109-63 final tally. Dp and Z finshed with 36 and 33 respectively both with high 60 + eff and even a 71 eff for Zab0s, who played well beyond his dollar value! Wally pitched in a solid 22 effort while NiKoN tossed in 18. For the opposition , Dynasty 2 , Bullet threw out a very solid 21 effort doing all he could to make this match look halfway respectable. While Hunter proved his worth and underpriced value by tossing in a solid 18. Relic and fader both struggled all game to get anything really going while rounding out with a 15 and 4 scores respectively.

Second map: Pressure

This map was basically all DYN. Bullet, fader, hunter, and relic' were just too much in this map. All four started off with an early control of the belt room and never really let it go. NiKoN and Z really struggled to get much of any offense going. Dynasty had complete control of the PUPS and the SB room and jumped out to a commanding lead and held it for the rest of the map. The following scores were 51 for M1 and 77 for Dyn.

Tie breaker: Deck 16

Ahh - Deck. Loved by most, hated by few. This map was intense due to the sniping abilities of both teams. Right off the bat M1 jumped out to around a 12 frag lead. Out of nowhere, Hunter was on a killing spree, with the rest of his team pitching in at that point. This closed the gap and actually put Dyn in the lead with 4. At this point wally and dp turned it up a notch and took the lead back to 5 frags with about 5 mins left to go. Then out of no where - liqs aim just becomes outright deadly. He goes on a DOMINATING spree to give his team a commanding lead the rest of the way. DP also picked up the slack by throwing in a rampage near the end. While Wally tossed in a killing spree in the closing minute or two. At the end, as the remaing rockets were flying in the air and bullets soaring in the air, M1 won the TB with a 19 frag lead.

GGs to both teams. I must say, what a way to start off the playoffs! Looking forward to more exciting matches in the playoffs. And good luck to M1 as they advance to the next round!
