At the beginning of the season I ranked Egomaniacs really low after Hunter's announcement that he wouldn't be able to make many matches. That would mean the fate of Egomaniacs would very much be in the hands of Solidus. I always knew that if Hunter ever did show up Solidus and Hunter would not be a team that could be taken down easily. Well to my surprise Hunter was able to make tonight's match. With Hunter actually showing up for Egomaniacs I figured the end scores would be really close considering Phear's team isn't half bad themselves and that both maps would come down to the wire.
Unfortunately that's not how the maps went. The first half of FWTBT was pretty brutal for EGO with TGP having almost double the points as EGO. Towards the end EGO started lowering the gap in points but they couldn't quite even the score with the limited amount of time they had left.
Deck was the usual control the top and snipe as much as you can match. Nothing that was too exciting.
